How it works

How niche edits work, step by step

A niche edit adds your link to an article that is already published. Here is the process, how it compares with a new guest post, and where it falls short.

  • The process from request to live link
  • Insertion compared with a guest post
  • Honest limits of the method

About your link

What happens to the article?

The article is already live. A niche edit changes it in one small way: your link goes into the body copy. Sometimes your anchor replaces a few words in a sentence that fits. Sometimes a short sentence is added so the link has a natural home. The rest of the article stays as it was. This kind of placement is also called a curated link insertion or a contextual link insertion.

From request to live link

  1. You send the details. The page you want to support, the anchor idea and your niche.
  2. We match articles. We look for relevant, indexed articles and send a shortlist with a written quote for each.
  3. You approve. Nothing happens until you pick the articles you want.
  4. The link is inserted. We add it and report the live URL so you can check it.

Niche edit or new guest post?

With a niche edit, the article already exists, you control only the link, and the cost reflects the traffic and authority of the host. In some cases an article that Google already knows can be re-crawled sooner than a new URL is found, but we give no timeframe, because it is not ours to promise. It suits supporting a page you already have.

With a new guest post, the article is written fresh, you control the whole piece, and the cost reflects writing and hosting. It suits covering a topic you have not covered. Our page on insertions or guest posts goes through when each one is the better choice.

Your link borrows context from the page around it. If the article is on a related topic, read by real people and published by a real site, the link makes sense. If the page is thin, off topic or crowded with outbound links, it adds little and may add risk. Look at our inventory criteria to see how we judge that.

Risks and limits

You do not control the host. The owner can edit, remove or redirect the article after the insertion. A link is also one signal among many, and no outcome is promised.

Buying or exchanging links to influence rankings can go against Google's spam policies on link schemes. Careful, relevant, editorial style placements reduce that risk but do not remove it. Read how to vet a niche edit first.

About your link

Questions about niche edit service in United States

Do I get to approve the article first?

Yes. We send a shortlist with a written quote for each article, and nothing is inserted until you approve. You can ask to see real host examples on WhatsApp and check the pages yourself, including whether the page is indexed and whether the topic fits your own.

Is a niche edit faster than a guest post?

Sometimes the page is already indexed, so the link can be found when the page is next crawled. We do not give a time frame, and Google decides when and whether a link is counted. Treat any speed claim from a seller with caution, and judge a niche edit on relevance first.

Can the link be removed later?

Yes. The host controls the article and can edit or remove it, and we cannot stop a site owner from doing that. Ask any seller how they handle it. We explain what we can and cannot do about it in the written quote, before you pay, so there are no surprises later.

Does the whole article change?

No. A niche edit touches the link and, at most, a sentence around it. The topic, structure and tone of the article stay as the publisher wrote them. That is the trade for using a page that already exists: you get less control over the content than you would with a guest post you write yourself.

What should I send to start?

Send the page you want to support, the anchor text you have in mind and your niche. Use the request form or message us on WhatsApp. If you only have a rough idea, send that. We reply with matching articles and a written quote.
